Accessibility Statement

This site aims to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. This page explains the standard we hold ourselves to, how the site is tested, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, and they are the standard commonly used to assess websites in the United States and internationally.

How this site supports accessibility

  • Semantic structure. Pages use proper landmarks, headings, lists, and form labels, so screen readers can navigate by structure rather than by guesswork.
  • Keyboard operation. The quiz can be completed entirely with a keyboard, including choosing answers with the arrow keys, and every interactive element shows a visible focus indicator.
  • Screen reader support. Quiz progress is announced as you move between questions, controls are labeled, and your score is always available as text, not only as a chart.
  • Color and contrast. Text and interface elements meet WCAG AA contrast requirements, and information is never conveyed by color alone: every score includes a number and a written label.
  • Motion. Animations are brief and subtle, and the site respects your device's reduce-motion setting.
  • Zoom and small screens. The layout reflows to fit narrow screens and high zoom levels with no horizontal scrolling, down to 320 pixels wide, which is the equivalent of 400% zoom.
  • No special requirements. The site needs no account, uses no timers, and is built with standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript only, with no plug-ins required.

Conformance status

Automated accessibility testing with axe-core reports no WCAG violations across our page types, including the results page for every score range. We also test the quiz end to end with keyboard-only navigation, and we verify that pages reflow at 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling. Automated tools cannot catch everything, however. We have not yet completed a formal manual audit with dedicated screen-reading software, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work.

Known limitations

  • The quiz requires JavaScript to score your answers. With JavaScript disabled, the rest of the site remains fully readable, and the quiz page shows a notice explaining the requirement.
  • We are not aware of any other barriers affecting the site's core features. If you find one, please tell us using the contact details below.

Feedback

If any part of this site creates a barrier for you, please email hello@reflectatwork.com with the page address and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within a few business days, and reports are always welcome.
